St. Patrick’s Day is around the corner and what is more festive than serving Lucky Charms Treats! This fun to make treat will go over well with any crowd during this holiday. Think Rice Krispies Treats, but made with Lucky Charms cereal instead, with extra lucky charms marshmallows and sprinkles to add extra to this delicious treat. Instructions

  1. Place parchment paper in a 9×13 baking dish.
  2. Pour the cereal) start with 5 ½ cups and add an extra ½ cup if needed after the marshmallow mixture is added) and 1 tsp of the sprinkles in a large mixing bowl. Set aside.
  3. Using a medium sized pot over medium-high heat, melt the butter. Once melted, stir in the salt and vanilla extract. Stir in the marshmallows and continue to stir until melted/smooth texture.
  4. Pour the marshmallow mixture over the lucky charm’s cereal. Stir until coated. Pour the covered cereal mixture onto the parchment paper in the baking pan. Spread out evenly.
  5. Top with extra lucky charms marshmallows and sprinkles. Let cool for at least 20 minutes. Enjoy!

  1. Do you still add the salt if you are using salted butter?

    1. I used unsalted butter, but you are welcome to use salted butter if you prefer! I do not recommend adding extra salt if you are using salted butter to this recipe.
