Instructions

  1. Spray non-stick spray or lightly wipe butter in a 9×13 baking dish.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, cinnamon, salt, and brown sugar.
  3. Place the ¼ cup cookie butter and 1 tsp of butter in a microwave safe dish for 15 seconds. Stir. Add 1 tbsp of milk or cream. Stir. Pour into the egg batter. Whisk. (There may be small clumps of cookie butter, that is okay!).
  4. Take one piece of bread at a time, place in the batter, flip over a couple of times in the batter. Place in the baking dish. Repeat until each bread sliced is soaked and placed in the dish. Pour the remaining batter over the top of the bread, evenly.
  5. Cover with foil. While the bread is sitting, place in the refrigerator and preheat the oven to 350. Place is oven when it pre-heated and cook with foil on for 30 minutes.
  6. Remove foil and cook for another 10-15 minutes.
  7. Near the end of the French toast being done in the oven, take the 1 tbsp cookie butter and 1-2 tbsp milk or cream and place in the microwave for 15 seconds. Stir until smooth. Drizzle over the French toast when it comes out.
  8. Cool for a few minutes and serve topped with syrup, whipped cream, or whatever you prefer topping wise. Simply enjoy!
