Description

Watermelon Margarita

Watermelon Margarita
  • 5 oz Watermelon Juice (About 3 cups cubed watermelon, pureed.)
  • 1 oz Fresh Lime Juice (Fresh is best, but if you don’t have limes use lime juice in a bottle)
  • 2 oz Tequila (Whatever your favorite brand is!)
  • 1/2 oz Agave (Or Simple Syrup (optional))
  • Margarita Salt
  • Lime Wedges (Garnish)
  • Cocktail Shaker
  • Ice
Instructions
  1. Take the cubes of watermelon, and puree it. I used my Nutri-Bullet and blended for about 20 seconds. Set aside.
  2. Fill your shaker ¾ with ice. Measure and pour 5 ounces of watermelon juice into the shaker.
  3. Next add the agave, lime juice and tequila. Shake for 30 seconds or until fully mixed.
  4. Take a lime wedge across the rim of two glasses. Dip the rim of the glasses in salt.
  5. 5. Fill both glasses with ice and pour the margarita mixture over the ice in box glasses. Garnish with a lime wedge. Simply enjoy!
