Cheesy BBQ Pulled Pork Sliders

BBQ Pulled Pork Sandwich

Cheesy BBQ Pulled Pork-Pull Apart Sliders. These sandwiches are great for meal prepping, game day treats, picnics, or to serve at any type of event. Not only are they very easy to make, but they also taste amazing. BBQ pulled pork topped with extra cheese, stuffed in a buttery, lightly crunchy roll. Delicious!

I served these with a side dipping sauce, BBQ Ranch and extra BBQ dipping sauce. Don't feel like you have to serve with a dipping sauce, but if you want to give your guests a little extra, I recommend serving one of these. These sandwiches are sure to become a family favorite or your new go to recipe when hosting get-togethers. I hope you enjoy!

Description

Cheesy BBQ Pulled Pork-Pull Apart Sliders

Cheesy BBQ Pulled Pork-Pull Apart Sliders
  • 12 Potato Rolls (Or Hawaiian Rolls if you prefer)
  • 4 cups Pulled Pork (Cooked beforehand)
  • 1-1 1/2 cup Favorite BBQ Sauce
  • 1 1/2 tablespoon Butter (Softened)
  • 8 Slices of Provolone Cheese
  • 1 1/2 cup Shredded Mozzarella Cheese (I used a Provolone/Mozzarella Blend, or regular Shredded Mozzarella will be fine)
  • 1/8 teaspoon Garlic Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon Garlic Powder (Optional)
  • 1/8 teaspoon Smoked Paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Parsley
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350.
  2. Place your rolls on parchment paper then place on a medium sized baking sheet. Cut through the middle of the rolls, set the tops aside and leave the bottom portion on the parchment paper.
  3. Lay the provolone cheese slices on the bottom part of the rolls.
  4. In a bowl, place the pulled pork and ¾-1 cup of BBQ sauce. Stir well. Pour the pulled pork mixture over the cheese/rolls and spread out evenly.
  5. Drizzle ¼ cup of BBQ sauce over the top of the pulled pork. Sprinkle the cheese on top. Place the tops of the rolls on top of the cheese.
  6. Take the softened butter and mix with the garlic salt, garlic powder, parsley, and paprika. Stir well. Spread over the tops of the rolls.
  7. Place a piece of foil over the sandwiches and place in the oven for 10 minutes. Remove foil and cook another 10 minutes. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
