Where are my shrimp taco lovers at!? Shrimp tacos are one of my favorite meals. This one specifically. Crispy seasoned shrimp, tossed lightly in a creamy subtle spicy sauce, topped with crunchy cabbage all wrapped up in a small tortilla. Delicious! Feel free to add extra bang bang sauce to your taco or dip it in ranch, because you can’t go wrong either way! Typically, a bang bang sauce is mayo based, but mine is Greek yogurt based! So even though it’s fried shrimp, the sauce is healthy-ish. As always, I love to hear your thoughts!
Shrimp Tacos
- 12 oz Deveined/Peeled Large Shrimp (Remove tails before cooking. If frozen, defrost beforehand.)
- 1 Egg
- 1/4 cup Buttermilk (No Buttermilk? Use Heavy Cream or Whole Milk.)
- 1/3 cup Cornstarch
- 1/3 cup All Purpose Flour
- 1 tsp Smoked Paprika
- 1 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Black Pepper
- 4-6 Flour Tortilla's
- 2 cup Shredded Cabbage
- Canola Oil
Bang Bang Sauce
- 1 cup Plain Greek Yogurt
- 1/4 cup Buffalo Sauce (Extra if you want it extra spicy but try before adding more.)
- 1/4 cup Sweet Chili Sauce
