Where are my shrimp taco lovers at!? Shrimp tacos are one of my favorite meals. This one specifically. Crispy seasoned shrimp, tossed lightly in a creamy subtle spicy sauce, topped with crunchy cabbage all wrapped up in a small tortilla. Delicious! Feel free to add extra bang bang sauce to your taco or dip it in ranch, because you can’t go wrong either way! Typically, a bang bang sauce is mayo based, but mine is Greek yogurt based! So even though it’s fried shrimp, the sauce is healthy-ish. As always, I love to hear your thoughts!

Instructions
-
Wash and shred (or chop) the cabbage, set aside.
-
Make the bang bang sauce – stir the chili sauce, buffalo sauce, and yogurt together well. Set aside.
-
Mix the flour, corn starch, paprika, salt, pepper, and garlic powder in a medium sized bowl. Stir well.
-
In a separate small bowl, whisk together the egg and milk.
-
Heat oil (about ½ inch thick) in a large skillet on the medium – high heat.
-
Stir the shrimp (make sure the tails are removed) in the egg mixture, I would do 5-7 at a time. Once the shrimp are coated, shake off access egg mixture and dip in the flour mixture. Make sure the shrimp are evenly coated.
-
Place the shrimp in the skillet in the hot oil. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side. Shrimp should be golden crispy on the outside. Transfer to a paper towel lined plate to catch the access oil.
-
Assemble your tacos. Place a little cabbage first, add as many shrimp as you want (I used 4 per taco) and drizzle as much sauce as you want on top. Add extra cabbage if you prefer or serve with a side of ranch. Simply enjoy!
