Prepare your shrimp to be cooked. Defrost if need be. Remove the shell and tails before cooking.

Cook your noodles according to the package.

While your pasta is cooking, heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a large skillet on medium high heat.

Toss shrimp with 1 tbsp olive oil, black pepper, garlic salt, and garlic powder. Place the seasoned shrimp into the hot skillet.

Cook each side of the shrimp for 5-6 minutes (if the shrimp is frozen precooked, cook 2-3 minutes on each side). Remove the shrimp and put to the side once fully cooked.

Using the same skillet, melt the butter, on medium high heat.

Once melted, add your flour and whisk until you create a roux (this will help you thicken your sauce).

Add the heavy cream and salt to the roux. Leave on medium high heat and bring to a light bubble.

Add your pesto to the skillet.

Continue to whisk and cook on medium high heat for 5 minutes. You want your sauce to be a little thick.

Once your sauce has thickened, add the shrimp back into the pan to reheat. Cook for another 1-2 minutes.

Pour the sauce over your cooked noodles and stir until completely covered.

Top with parmesan cheese. Simply enjoy!
